While sitting on my back porch, I started watching the clouds moving overhead. A slight wind had picked up and the forecast was calling for thunderstorms. I don't know what posessed me to do it, but I began to snap a photo every two minutes pointing at the same location in the sky. Over a span of a little over a half hour, the sky made its final transition into darkness from the dull evening glow. The wind also picked up as the storm moved in along with the speed of the clouds. When it finally began to rain, I took off into the house. This was the final product of the transition in order, with no editing aside from resizing.
I'm hoping to do a few more series similiar to this soon. I really enjoyed doing it.
very nice, the way the tree is set to the left gives it good composition....looks like the storm that came through here yesterday....

It took be a good 40 minutes or so of sitting still in the chair & just taking pictures. A few of the pictures weren't exactly 2 minutes apart, some a bit longer because I had to wait until the wind died down a bit so I didn't get madly waving wind blurry trees in the picture heh.
